Business Development Representative

Our client, a $4M sales, marketing, and distribution company serving the flexographic and rotogravure printing industry, is seeking top talent for a Business Development Representative who will be a vital member of the Sales Development team in primarily managing & growing relationships with 360+ current active Prime Accounts nationwide. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact in this segment and will also conduct prospecting activities with the nearly 3000 pressrooms overall in the company’s ODOO CRM database that are not presently active with the firm. This individual must be self-motivated to identify opportunities for growth, be able to hit the ground running in terms of effort and quickly assimilating training, possess strong problem-solving skills, able to balance multiple priorities, navigate roadblocks, and collaborate within a team.

  • BA or BS degree preferred (not required)
  • At least 1-3+ years of work experience – ideally including outbound prospecting & outbound customer connects
  • Professional and/or educational background in manufacturing, industrial products, and other related markets is a plus
  • Highly organized
  • Holds oneself accountable to executing a business development plan
  • Skilled and comfortable with handling client concerns and conflict resolution
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze and assimilate information quickly, and to take action/make decisions in consultation with senior leadership
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office products
  • Comfortable working with modern technologies, systems, and processes, to include the ODOO platform for CRM and other business functions
  • Fluency in Spanish is also a plus
