Your ‘day to day’:

As Procurement Executive you will lead our Procurement at Triaga Inc., the position will be based in Wilson, NC.

Support local Procurement organization to optimize local procurement of products and services by liaising with local departments to understand their current and anticipated demand or needs, implementing local sourcing strategies, optimizing the local supplier base and managing local supplier contracts.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with local department personnel to understand departmental or project strategies and to develop Procurement plans for specific projects or areas, cost estimates, & schedules for integrating these business needs into existing and future procurement activities that influence or support specific department spend optimization. Support departmental budget optimization.
  • Identify, research, evaluate suppliers & negotiate terms for locally addressable spend areas in order to achieve the most favorable conditions for the department to optimize its cash out and the quality and reliability of good and services needed.
  • Commercially manage new & on-going local key relationships with local minor to middle suppliers, vendors or subcontractors at account level to ensure that the affiliate receives satisfactory standards of services and there is contribution sustainability over time.
  • Support account head to incorporate when requested central policies, strategies, commercial  methodologies or other materials and develop local ones that  will optimize  the affiliate's technical, quality, service or reliability standards.
  • Identify, research, evaluate suppliers & negotiate terms for locally addressable spend areas in order to achieve the most favorable conditions for the department to optimize its cash out and the quality and reliability of good and services needed.
Who we’re looking for:

A Procurement Executive, willing to experiment and innovate, who would be able to deal with ambiguity and would feel comfortable working in fast changing environment. A person who has also:
  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics. Diploma from a recognized Procurement Institute is an asset
  • Integration with the Business
  • Ability to influence at middle management level
  • Business & commercial knowledge across multiple areas (marketing, operations, finance..)
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships (Internal & external) at middle management level 
  • 3  to 4 years experience in Procurement at Tactical level preferably across categories alternatively Key Account Management at junior level
